Check out my new doughnut buddy. Wait, donut? Doughnut? Don’t worry, I googled it… according to writing explained:

“The official dictionary spelling of the word is doughnut with donut generally being listed as a variant of the preferred original spelling. Doughnut is the original spelling of the word, coming onto the scene in the early 1800s.”

Fascinating. Anyways, without further ado- here he is;

He is pretty cute. For some reason, I have been interested in drawing cartoon junk foods lately. Which is really strange because I ONLY eat healthy food. Hey, I would never lie to you.

What I need is help naming him. If you have any ideas, comment! I dare you! Winner gets a virtual high five!

Name him Barnaby, seems like a good, strong donut name. No one wants to eat a donut called Barnaby.

Barnaby is my son’s name and his dad runs a doughnut shop. Our dog has already had a doughnut named after her so it would be most appropriate if there was a Barnaby doughnut as well.
