I've spent a majority of my time this past week working on patching a settling crack in our ceiling. Bending over backwards while facing upwards has left me a bit not terribly interested in drawing or making much of anything, but that won't stop our little painter. Her frothing demand for Sarah & Duck related… Continue reading A green tiger

Atti-TOOT-ers
I did it again! I made another video. Remember the last one? This one isn't a song though so you will miss out on my wonderful singing skills. Sorry. This video was much harder to film, but it tackles a very important subject in my classroom: stinky attitudes. Or, "atti-toots" cuz they stink up my… Continue reading Atti-TOOT-ers
Some different views
This week I'm reviewing a few of the cuts that I've made over the past few months. Seeing still images of them doesn't quite get across the way that they look in person. To try and remedy this I've done a few short videos and converted them to GIFs for fast consumption. While setup, filming… Continue reading Some different views
Supplies Song
***Disclaimer! I have been at conferences all evening so I may be a little bit out of it while writing this blog post. Apologies!*** I have always wanted to film some of my weird parody songs that I sing to my students, and today I had the opportunity! This song is dedicated to those kiddos… Continue reading Supplies Song
Short time
Still busy around here, and it hasn't even been that long since I shared work last time. Anyhow, between Friday and today I was able to sit down with my progeny and craft some more... let's call it art. I asked her explicitly what she'd like me to draw her during her nap and she… Continue reading Short time
Back pain
This week has been plagued by alternating illness and culminated in a thrown out back. I've taken it in stride, but I'm also beat. Long story short art time has suffered and I don't have a lot to show for it. I did however, throw together this rendition of what happened to my back.
ART
Guys! I did it! I finally tackled my chalkboard in one of my rooms! My room looks soooooo much better. Remember this post? Long story short my OCD kicked in and I was forced to make my room prettier. After I made my walls all fancy and colorful my eye went straight to the big… Continue reading ART
Little rectangles tinier wrecked angles
This week I really put the tiny knife to the paper and finished another large scale paper cut. It's another zentangle design, but unlike the previous few, this one had a lot of small details to work out. Since so much of it is comprised of various sized (but all mostly small) rhombuses there were… Continue reading Little rectangles tinier wrecked angles
Sick Kicks
I feel like we have done so much over the course of a week. Is it nap time? And its only Monday! We are gonna need more chocolate! Anyway, I started last week with the idea to give my old favorite tenni's a makeover. I loved these shoes so much. Sigh. But pink with navy… Continue reading Sick Kicks
A horse in hat
Hello, and once again, it's time to look at crude drawings and child paintings. First up we have a theme requested by the artist. I call it 'Horse in hat' as that is directly what was said to me. No, we're not going to do that exact same thing again this week. Though the little… Continue reading A horse in hat
